Each month, SAAS will host a distinguished Syrian academic from a leading U.S. university for a live online lecture and open discussion with academics, students, and the public in Syria.
The Syrian American Academic Society (SAAS) is launching a monthly webinar series.
Each month, we host a distinguished Syrian academic in the United States who has reached some of the world’s most prestigious universities to share their expertise and knowledge through:
- A live monthly online session
- Specialized speakers and global experts
- Curated knowledge and valuable academic content
- An open space for questions and interactive discussion
This monthly webinar series goes beyond the transfer of scientific and technical expertise. It serves as a direct bridge connecting Syrian American experts with academics, students, and the general public in Syria.
During each webinar, the guest will deliver a specialized virtual lecture on a key topic within their field of expertise, followed by an open interactive discussion addressing participants’ questions on:
- The webinar topic
- Studying and gaining academic admission in the United States
- Academic and research career pathways
- Current research trends and key focus areas in the field
A dialogue series designed to inspire, foster knowledge exchange, and open new horizons for researchers, academics, and aspiring minds.
